Connecting the Pieces is seeking a Mobile Therapist to provide one-to-one behavioral interventions and modeling to children and adolescents during traditional school hours as well as after school, evenings, and weekends. The Mobile Therapist (MT) provides therapy services to a child and family in their home to work on identified treatment goals. Services provided by a Mobile Therapist vary according to the individualized needs of a child and family. The MT can work with support surrounding the child, including the family, to incorporate family dynamic and structure into the therapeutic sessions. Mobile therapy can be used to help your child process emotional and behavioral health challenges or trauma.

Responsibilities:
• Provides child-centered, family-focused individual and family services
• Available for crisis intervention, implementing strategies and support discovered in crisis planning
• Maintains contact with other members of the treatment team and assist in the implementation of the treatment plan
• Helps to develop daily routines which will enhance the treatment approach indicated in the treatment plan
• Follows treatment plans based upon the clinical evaluation, family and child strengths,
and clinical needs
• Develops and monitor therapeutic techniques for effectiveness
• Completes all required documentation in accordance with regulations and clinical best
practices
• Maintains clinical sessions with the child/adolescent/young adult and family as prescribed and provide therapeutic interventions to support treatment goals

Qualifications:
Individuals who provide individual services through mobile therapy services shall meet ONE of the following:
• Licensed in the Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist or clinical social worker.
• Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a social worker or a behavior specialist and have graduate degree
• Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree
• Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree

Additional Qualifications:
• Ability to utilize collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Understanding of child and family development
• Crisis intervention and management
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Strong computer skills in all Microsoft office applications

Salary: From $35.00 per hour
