Our Counselors and Social Workers maximize client success and encourage academic, social, emotional, and personal development.
Counselors and Social Workers provide support to clients to address social and emotional concerns that may be a barrier to treatment. They provide support, strategies, and resources to help clients cope with challenges and to support their well-being. Data collection on goals and anecdotal reports on the success of the strategies help ensure the client’s success.
Counseling / Social Work Services Include:
- Providing support to clients to address social and emotional concerns that may be a barrier to treatment
- Conducting assessment(s) to identify barriers to the client’s learning, interpersonal challenges, and executive functioning needs
- Monitoring of the client’s progress on goals outlined in the plan
- Delivering developmentally appropriate activities and services directly to clients
- Assessing client abilities, interests, and achievements to help them make decisions about their future
- Completion of data analysis to identify client issues, needs, and challenges and develop interventions to promote client success
- Providing problem solving techniques and support to clients during times of transitions, heightened stress, critical change, or other situations that impede the client’s success
- Sharing strategies supporting client achievement with parents, teachers, and other members of the team
- Providing support and documentation to keep the client safe
- Conducting progress monitoring as outlined
- Services can be face-to-face or virtual
